A rare Ferdinand Kramer easy chair made out of beech bentwood. It is a very early example from 1927, manufactured by Thonet. Ferdinand Kramer was a German modernist architect and designer who worked with Ernst May to build and furnish the social housing project of New Frankfurt. Its design is a result of radical modernity and absolute simplicity, characterised by a special balance of dimensions and proportions, carefully selected materials, quality and practicality.
