Published on the occasion of the exhibitions at University of Salamanca (Centro de Fotografia) and Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden. Struth has carried out his photographic expeditionns from australia to Yunnan Province of China, Yakushima in Japan, Bavaria (Germany), Brazil. Each oversize, astonishingly detailed image of the forests, was exhibited in monumental print size, and here is presented in appropriately large-scale format. The texts are from a psychologist (Hartman) and an art historian (Reust).
